The Wysong Wedding

Coffee is freaking awesome. Not only is it tasty, it has magical powers. Doubt me?

Behold!

Hang on to your hats, we're going to cover a lot of history in not a lot of time. For starters, let's go back a few years to 2013...

A wedding founded on Rock Creek Coffee RoastersSome of you may know that Peggy (aka Margaret) spent 3 years in Afghanistan as a civilian contractor supporting the military.

I would send care packages with great coffee, that she would share with a chosen few. Every morning, they would stop by Margaret's office for coffee. On one base, she met Jeff and Sharon. On another, she met Denise. Eventually they would all end up on the same base.

That's where the story begins.

One morning, she was pretty happy that she and Sharon's friend, Jeff, would be landing on her base. The next day, Jeff stopped by for coffee. He gives Margaret a hug. He gives Sharon a hug. As he goes to give Denise a hug, she backs up a step and sticks out her hand...and they shake (that's important).

Margaret leaves the contract and comes home. Soon, she is followed by Jeff, Denise and Sharon.

Fast forward a few months and...

Jeff calls Margaret. The conversation goes something like this:

Jeff in serious important voice: "I have something to tell you."

Margaret, expecting the worst: "What's going on?"

Jeff says, "Denise and I are seeing each other and..."

Margaret cuts him off. "That's great, but if this goes south, we're with Denise because she's our girl. And we know how to hide a body."

Jeff: "Umm, okay."

Margaret: "Just so we know where we stand."
